Situation:
North Tawton is a small but traditional former market town set in the heart of rural Devon.
It is on the Tarka Trail Ideal for walking holidays and Jam and Jerusalem is also filmed here.
The former market town of Okehampton lies approximately six miles to the south and offers a wider range of amenities including supermarkets, hospitol, golf course, swimming pool.
Road link is via the A30 dual carriage way, which can be accessed at Whiddon Down and provides a main route into Cornwall to the west or the cathedral city of Exeter to the east, Which in turn boasts a mainline railway station, an international airport and access to the M5 motorway.
There are excellent recreational and sporting facilities in the area with an indoor swimming pool, bowling green and tennis courts at Okehampton, along with golf courses at Moretonhampstead and Ashbury. There is also excellent walking and riding in all directions with Dartmoor National Park being close by.
Accomodation:
Open Plan Kitchen/Living Area with TV, video,
a few videos for your entertainment, sofa, table and chairs. The kitchen
has a range of newly fitted units, washing machine, new fitted oven and
hob.
Upstairs there is a bathroom with bath and power shower.
Bedroom 1:
Is a cosy double bedroom with a built in wardrobe.
The bedroom is newly decorated with a new carpet. There is a double bed
with clean bedding, bedside tables and a chest of draws.
Bedroom 2:
Is a cosy single bedroom newly decorated with
a new carpet. There is a single bed with clean bedding, wardrobe, chest
of draws and a small box of toys.
Outside:
A small courtyard garden with barbeque and
shed, there is a park near by for children to play.
Arrivals after 3pm, Departures before 10am.
Short Breaks available.
Weekend Break is 3pm Friday to 10am Monday
A Mid Week Break is 3pm Monday to 10am Friday
@ £30 per night.
All electricity is coin metered.
Well-behaved pets are welcome.
A Non-Refundable Deposit of £10 per night
is required on booking with the balance payable on or before arrival.
A £50 security deposit is required payable
on booking which will be returned within one month after departure as long
as our Terms & Conditions are
adhered to.
